Without doubt, finishing last in Winter 2019 was a career low point for the then-defending champion. Luck was obviously against him twelve months ago, but he will be determined to return stronger, if not fitter. Practice is going well and tournament rules have been tweaked in his favour, but he will need to rewrite history to make the unprecedented jump from spoon to special one.
