This lame, degenerative fortysomething often suggests he is merely making up the numbers but this time around he may not even do that. A selective approach to this year's events will prevent him adding to his 2012 Winter triumph but he can make or break events for others should the desire take him. Don't bet on him to win, but bet on him being a thorn in the side of younger rivals.
